Blog Train freebie--New Dawn

Oh my!! Where have I been? Time has disappeared on me, I've blinked and it's all gone!
Usually the organized me has all under control..............if you find her please let me know as I really need her back.

I was supposed to have my portion of the Sun blog train posted and ready to go TODAY! But here I sit frantically trying to get it posted and out there so people know to come visit me to pick up their goodies and I totally blanked :(
The good news is you can still pick up any links you may have missed and collect the final piece on the Sun Blog as we countdown to June 1 when the new revamped Sunshine Studio Scraps will reopen.

Freebies!! New Kits and Yeh What a New Year!

I hope everyone had a great holiday and wishing you all the best for the new year. The B~man got his Wii for Christmas so all was happy in this household.
He also played in a hockey tournament that started on Boxing Day. His team reached the finals and only lost by one goal!! What a game that was! B~man was recognized twice by the coaches of the other team and awarded the Player of the Game medal in game 1 and game 2....he was so proud. In the semi-final matchup he scored a hat trick, needles to say the boy was floating on air, LOL. The whole team played so well.

It was gorgeous one too, took a shot on net, bounced off the goalie and he was there for his own rebound..........SCORE!!!!!!! He also had a wonderful shot from the blue line, almost went in.

busy on the home front but great new products and a freebie template!

Exhausted, uninspired and hopeful..............three pretty daunting words when you first see them aren't they? I'm exhausted with working, packing, arranging, keeping up.......you know, all the fun with selling a house. Uninspired, I have all these fabulous kits to work with but because of all the house stuff my mind is clogged, so I'm struggling to create. Hopeful, my fresh start will be a good thing for me, that I can truly move on and go forward to good things. I'm feeling positive about it, just overwhelmed at starting a 'new' life.

I will be going offline as of Saturday and will hopefully not be gone too long. I'm going to see how soon I can get my internet and everything set up, my official moving date is the 15th so you may not see me until the 18th.

First Day of School, Previews, Template News and a Freebie

First day back and all went well, no tears or refusing to ever attend again.............and that was me, LOL. Day 1 is always laid back for me due to my job within the school. I make sure to connect with my students from last year, visit classes, be visible. Next week I will start planning my schedule after reorganization and schedule blips have been ironed out. B-man came home pretty happy with his day and fell right into routine of emptying the backpack, showing me the wads of paperwork I need to sign, and that this year they don't need parental signatures in their agenda on a daily basis, he's in grade 6 now you know, hehehe. That's fine, but I WILL be looking at it daily.....he's a great kid and student, but well he's a kid. I've forgotten to do something for work (good job I was able to wing it and think on my feet, LOL). We'll see how day 2 goes.

We have hockey tonight and Friday and I have a hockey meeting Thursday..........hmmm, detecting a theme here?

I will be posting a freebie once a week, with work starting up again, my CT's and other duties I won't be able to keep up the pace of 2-3 a week.

I Did It!

Franziska has a new kit out and it looks so cool! I love the colours and everything, it's very different from her previous works. Edgier would be the best way to describe it, but still with wonderful flair that I love about her designs.

Here it is Bohemian Rock Candy which you can find at Scrap Orchard and at Sunshine Studio Scraps. Seeing the name my first thought was "is she a Queen fan?", just wondering as I love that band.

What did I do? Well I went out on a limb, I applied for my first CT call. Just thought I'd give it a shot and we'll see what happens. It's a designer who's kits I really like and I know she has a great following so we'll see. You never know unless you try :) I'll keep you updated, regardless of the outcome.

I'm working on another freebie, was going to have it done today but I got distracted. I love the way text paths look and in PSE you can't do them. In PSP you can and I have PSP 9 but removed it from the computer as it looked daunting and confusing. Well I reinstalled it and.......it still looks daunting and confusing, lol. Now I want to figure out how to make text paths so I can put them in my layouts from PSE. Hopefully I'll have a wordart in a cool shape for you, we'll see how quickly I can figure it out......or should I say obsess about it. Maybe I'm feeling a template.
