Blog Train freebie--New Dawn

Oh my!! Where have I been? Time has disappeared on me, I've blinked and it's all gone!
Usually the organized me has all under control..............if you find her please let me know as I really need her back.

I was supposed to have my portion of the Sun blog train posted and ready to go TODAY! But here I sit frantically trying to get it posted and out there so people know to come visit me to pick up their goodies and I totally blanked :(
The good news is you can still pick up any links you may have missed and collect the final piece on the Sun Blog as we countdown to June 1 when the new revamped Sunshine Studio Scraps will reopen.
You can either click on the image above or click: NEW DAWN

Once I find the organized me (may not be until the end of June) I hope to be back with much more consistency and news.

Until then, enjoy New Dawn and look forward to seeing you on the sunny side :)

NSD--Big News, Freebies Galore!

Ok, where do I begin? Other then to say I totally suck at keeping this blog up to date. I am truly hoping that I can change that soon. I know, I keep saying that and it hasn't happened yet. I have a couple of freebies of my own in the works just not been in a 'scrappy' mode this week. I think I needed to step away from the computer for a few days and unstable weather (as in storms) were a good way for me to do it. Of course now I feel totally lost and behind, lol.

On to the good stuff!! NSD--related

Scrap Orchard has soooo much going on, here's a quick run down;

Farmer's Market, DIY Bingo, Scavenger Hunt, Mega Mega Sale, and all kinds of Grab Bags. Lots and lots to keep you busy over there for sure.

Ziska and Kami (Ziggle Designs) have teamed up again to bring us a really cute kit that also happens to be part of a grab bag. Available at both Scrap Orchard and SBG

Shauna(Pineapple Plantation Designs) has a great kit in her grab bag, with colours that will make scrapping any page simple.

Ziska again (think she's doing this to me on purpose) with another new kit, this time with Monica from mgl Scraps, perfect for little ones, a boy and a girl version. So hop on over and check out my faves new stuff, MZ kids
Oh and guess what? I have another word art pack in Ziska's store. This pack coordinates with the Forest Friends Collab.

Freebie template plus a blog train Orchard style

I know, I know, I actually have 1 person who follows my blog and I can't get my butt in gear to come and update it. I would say that one of my goals is to keep this updated but that won't happen. I have so much going on that I would only end up disappointing myself and obsessing over this as well, lol.

If you take a peek I did finally update my slide and have my March layouts posted :) almost in time to start Aprils!

I am so itching for the warmer weather. Tired of pulling out the winter coat and the like. Although I have gained a bunch of weight and am depressed just thinking of my spring and summer clothes.......................I would say chocolate would cure those feelings but I think that's what got me into this mess to begin with, lol.

The warmer weather means I can open that fancy little moon roof in my "Beaner". What's that you say? What the heck is a Beaner? Well it's the name of my Jeep, as my license plate letters are 'BENR' and I made the comment of "Beaner" and it just stuck. Instead of saying 'get in the jeep' I say 'go jump into Beaner.' Strange I know but that's me :D

Scrapping News!!

Wow do I have some news for you!! The Orchard girls have done it again. Not only do they have awesome goodies for you every Friday with their Fresh Fruit but from March 17-19 some of them are having a BOGO sale!!!! That's Buy One Get One Free for 2 days! It gets better...........can you handle it? There is going to be a special blog train of a few of the designers where you can pick up pieces of a wonderful kit. I saw the preview and can't wait to hop on the train and snag it for myself. Here's a sneak peek though.........

The blog train should start at 12:00 CST Monday (not sure what the time difference with me is, lol) so you may want to hop on over and get started.

I'll get you started with the links for 2 of the blogs and then just follow along.

Real life news................

The B-man made the junior volleyball squad for the little mock tournament they had at the school. The teacher was using it as a way to get them used to what a tournament would be like, pointers, rules, sportsmanship etc. It was a great idea and B-man was so proud! I of course went to watch and cheer them on. A fun night and the smile on his fac when he saw me sitting on the stage was priceless. I took some pictures and got what I thought was a really good one of him jumping up get the ball but alas, once on my computer it was all blurry and icky :(.

B-man has had a great week as he is also doing the Break away challenge for his team in the skills competition at the hockey tournament. Of course he's nervous and said he would rather have done the backward skating one. I told him to relax but then again that's easy for me to say isn't it?

Blog Train and Freebies!!

Before I get to the fun, free scrapping stuff and blog addy's I have to share that the B~man scored a goal today!! It was gorgeous one too, took a shot on net, bounced off the goalie and he was there for his own rebound..........SCORE!!!!!!! He also had a wonderful shot from the blue line, almost went in.

OK on to what you're really here for, LOL.

To celebrate Becky from B~Creative Designs becoming an exclusive designer over at Scrap Orchard, the CT's from Kami (Ziggle Designs) and Becky got together and created these wondeful QP's. We felt it fitting that we use, what else but their collab Feels Like Home to kick off this occasion.

My blog is the first stop for Kami's team, and once you get to her blog she'll link you up with Becky and her team. Go, have fun!! Don't forget to upload your layouts in the Scrap Orchard gallery so we can see what you did!!
